The Division of Workforce Development of Paul D. Camp Community College offers a variety of training and educational options to meet the needs of new and existing employers, including:

  • Customized Training

  • Open-Enrollment Courses and Seminars

  • Business Start-up and Expansion Training

  • Consulting, Coaching, and Facilitation Services

  • Job Profiling and Job Candidate Assessment

Classes are offered at the Regional Workforce Development Center in Franklin, the Suffolk Workforce Center (downtown Suffolk), at the Hobbs Suffolk Campus, and at the PDCCC Site in Smithfield.

The Career Readiness Certificate

Virginia’s Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) is a portable credential that certifies employability skills in applied mathematics, locating information and reading for information. Community colleges are responsible for the oversight and administration of the assessments and certificates which are based on ACT WorkKeys.

Non-Credit Class: Open, print the Non-Credit Application, complete the form and mail or fax to the Workforce Center.

Credit Class: Open the three files (Rates, Application and Class Selection). Complete all pages and mail or fax to the Workforce Center.
