Prepare yourself for a career

in the
Warehouse and Distribution Industry

With new construction and the expansion of existing facilities, the demand for warehouse and distribution center employees is increasing every day! In response, PDCCC’s Division of Workforce Development, local warehouse and distribution companies and the City of Suffolk developed a pre-employment training program to upgrade your skills for a career in this growing field. In this new program, you will learn local warehouse functions and basic computer keyboard skills and participate in fork truck classroom instruction. You will also receive warehouse and distribution safety awareness training and interpersonal skills instruction through role-playing exercises. Modules include a WorkKeys Pre-test to determine readiness for taking the Career Readiness Certificate assessments. Get a step ahead by signing up today!
